Places People Used To Care About

This an intersection in Detroit. This used to be a relatively dense single family neighborhood, but it is now gone except for a large church and a few other buildings. The handicap ramps look new and must be intended to serve the remaining handful of residents in the vicinity; none of whom I was able to immediately locate. The people who cared about this neighborhood are gone. Maybe they've died. Maybe they've moved to the suburbs. Or to Phoenix. So this neighborhood sits and waits with sidewalks, streets and handicap ramps in place ready to accept new development. Maybe someday.
